Imperfect Fruit Mini-Box
A mix of Local and Rescued Fruit
Each week you’ll receive 2-3 different kinds of fruit! Some fruit will be local and fresh when in season, but most fruit will be rescued. This means that it would otherwise have gone to a landfill and it also means that it may be nearer the end of its life than conventional fruit. We will source organic whenever possible, but this box is not guaranteed to be 100% organic.
For the best experience, we highly recommend you:
- Refrigerate it immediately
- Eat it sooner rather than later
- If you are worried you won’t be able to finish your fruit, we encourage you to make jams, pies, and smoothies that you can throw in the freezer for later!
Typical Box Includes: One large fruit if available (melons, pineapple, clams of berries, etc.) and 2-4 smaller fruits (apples, peaches, kiwi, etc.).
