Organic Small Red Beans
Red beans are the small version of kidney beans. Organic, dark red beans come around the same size as a pinto bean.
Ingredients: Organic small red beans.
Cooking Directions: Stir in 1 1/2 tsp. salt over medium heat bring water to a boil. Uncover, reduce heat, and simmer until beans are tender and creamy, checking after 1 hour and adding more water as necessary to keep beans submerged in water, 1–1 1/2 hours total.
Goes well with: Known for their versatility, red beans can be elevated with a variety of spices, such as Italian seasoning, or Herbs de Provence.
