We opened Bona Coffee Roasters in 2017 with a goal to serve specialty coffee to all, with a sharp eye on the entire process from seed to cup to ensure consistent high-quality deliciousness with sustainable practices.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe roast our coffee in a smokeless machine, we donate our coffee chaff to be used as chicken beds and our green bean coffee bags for local farms for multiple usages. We also have an awesome project with FAF, one of our friend's farms: Mapping of Water Springs - The coffees originated by FAF come from communities of farmers in microclimates that have a vast wealth of clean water sources that are not always seen and treated as such. In line with UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 6 for 2030 “Safe and affordable drinking water for all”. FAF has chosen the Mapping of Water Springs as its starting point, measuring the number of springs and quality of the water that originates in our coffee producing communities.
