Assistant Store Manager - Denver

Nude Foods Market is an innovative, industry-changing startup doing something new and different in grocery. We deliver local, organic groceries and meals in zero-waste fashion using reusable containers, and operate storefronts in Boulder and Denver.
We are seeking an Assistant Manager who is ready to help lead the Denver store and grow with us. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll help develop the team, improve efficiency, elevate the customer experience, solve problems on the spot, and jump in on the floor whenever needed. Retail management experience is important, and natural grocery experience is a plus.
Store Operations & Appearance
● Provide constant checks for food freshness and quality, especially produce
● Maintain merchandising standards and feature products to support sales
● Support store redesigns, signage, pricing, and product displays
● Assist with routine inventory reporting and keep the sales floor stocked and organized
● Receive produce and store restock deliveries while managing the floor during operating hours
Customer Service
● Create a warm, personal customer experience and train the team to do the same
● Make sure employees have the knowledge and support to help customers
● Resolve complaints calmly and turn problems into positive experiences
● Help customers understand our zero-waste model and local products
Systems & Processes
● Improve and implement efficient, scalable store systems
● Identify problems early and take ownership of solutions
● Bring new ideas that help the store operate and grow
Managing & Growing a Team
● Delegate daily responsibilities and ensure follow-through
● Coach employees and develop their skills and strengths
● Set the tone on the floor and jump in wherever needed

Minimum Requirements:
● Retail management experience; natural grocery experience is a plus

● Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly
● Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and work alongside the team
● Comfort using a POS system and basic Google tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
Schedule & Compensation:
● Hours: Full-Time
● Pay: Starting at $22/hr

● Paid Sick Leave: 1 hour for every 30 hours worked up to 48 hours per year. Unused paid sick leave carries over from year to year in accordance with Colorado law.
● Paid Time Off (PTO): 1 hour for every 52 hours worked, up to 40 hours in Year 1; 80 hours in Years 2-3; 120 hours in Years 4-5; and 160 hours in Year 6 and beyond. PTO can be accrued up to the amount eligible for in that year.
● $75 monthly allowance towards tax-deductible supplemental benefits

Retail Associate - Boulder

We are seeking a Retail Associate to support the daily operations of our Boulder store, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and help maintain a beautiful, organized, and inspiring retail environment. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role where you’ll wear many hats — from stocking shelves and ringing up customers to preparing orders for delivery and keeping our zero-waste systems running smoothly.
What the role will involve:
Customer Service
- Greet customers and provide knowledgeable, friendly assistance
- Share information about our zero-waste systems and local products
- Help customers find items, answer questions, and provide recommendations
- Handle customer concerns or questions calmly and constructively
Store Operations
- Support opening and closing procedures, including daily checklists
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for purchases and returns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing store environment
Restock shelves and ensure products are clearly labeled and attractively displayed - Keep the bulk refill area stocked and tidy, following food safety guidelines
Order Preparation
- Pick and pack customer orders for delivery or pickup with accuracy and care
- Assist in preparing inventory transfers between stores
- Communicate with the team about low-stock or out-of-stock items
Zero-Waste Systems & Stockroom
- Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) rotation for all products
- Keep backstock areas neat, organized, and easily accessible
- Help receive deliveries, check for accuracy, and store products appropriately
- Date products and remove expired or damaged items and log waste according to store policy

Fall 2026 Internship - Denver
Fall 2026 Store Operations Internship
Nude Foods Market is seeking attentive individuals for our Fall 2026 Store Operations Internship at our Denver location. This is a unique opportunity to gain direct experience in the zero-waste movement while supporting a small but passionate team in a mission-driven startup.
Program Overview
As a store intern, you will be an integral part of our daily operations, where we’re revolutionizing the grocery industry by providing local, sustainable, and organic products in reusable containers. You will support a variety of tasks and projects.
Timeline: September 1 - November 30, 2026
Commitment: 3-5 hours per week
Compensation: Interns earn $25 in store credit per 2-3 hour shift, redeemable for groceries and meals at Nude Foods Market.
What You’ll Learn
Interns will gain experience in one or more of these areas:
- Product Familiarity: Become acquainted with the plethora of products that we carry, our standards for sourcing, and where they live in the store by supporting the team during our fast-paced store restock days.
- Produce Accessibility: Learn about our different avenues for sourcing our produce and how we make it accessible by assisting with our renowned Flash Produce Sales.
- Other Projects: Collaborate on special projects as needed. We’re a team with big ideas, and we love when someone can see our vision and run with it.
