Boba
That’s right, folks. Boba. Black tapioca pearls, also known as boba, are the perfect “bubbles” in bubble tea. They are small, round balls made from tapioca starch for a sweet and somewhat gummy consistency. These are the same boba pearls as those used at gourmet pearl milk tea shops. Also delicious in other desserts. It’s a texture thing!
This boba is not ready to add to your drink just yet – so make sure you follow the cooking directions below before you add them to your delicious drink!
