Wild Boar is an invasive species non-native animal that was introduced to North America. They have been reported in at least 35 states and cause billions of dollars in agricultural, property and environmental damage each year. We want to eradicate this species in their non-native range and what better way to do this than to eat them?
As wild animals, boar are extremely lean and nutritious. They also have a much lower disease rate than farm raised animals, since they are not subject to enclosed conditions. Most importantly, they are absolutely delicious, and far more flavorful than farm-raised pork. 
Wild Boar are live trapped in large pens. They are then transported to a USDA approved facility where they are processed and tested for disease.
To Prepare: Similar to other meats, let defrost and prepare as recipe direct.  It's a great replacement for Ground Beef or Turkey!



Storage/Shelf life: Keep in your freezer until ready to use.  Good for up to 6 months.
