Farfalle are a type of pasta commonly known as bow-tie pasta or butterfly pasta. The name is derived from the Italian word farfalle. In the Italian city of Modena, farfalle are known as strichetti. Made with high protein Durum Wheat, these delicious shapes will compliment any sauce thrown at them!
Goes well with: A local Boulder product, Verde Sauce.
We love it in: Pasta salads!
Cooking Directions: Bring a large pot of water to a boil with plenty of salt. Add pasta and cook for 9-11 minutes. Drain immediately and coat in your favorite sauce!
