Organic Whole Wheat Lomein noodles are the smoothest, quickest cooking organic Asian-style whole wheat pasta ever to be sold in the natural foods market. Lomein more readily absorbs the flavor of broths, sauces, and seasonings because of its less assertive flavor. Lomein is the flat Chinese-style pasta resembling fettuccine popular as the traditional staple food of North China and familiar to generations of Americans as the noodles used in Chinese restaurants. Perfect served hot in winter or cold in summer.
Cooking Directions: Bring water to a boil. Lo mein noodles take about three minutes. After they’re cooked, briefly run them under cold water to chill them rapidly and stop them from cooking.
