7/19/25 (Vegan & GF): Tofu & Vegetable Biryani with Dahl Soup
Biryani is a highly aromatic, mouth-watering staple dish. Because of its endless nuanced flavors, it is perhaps the most comforting meal of Indian cuisine that has been a part of community feasts, family gatherings, and almost every Indian household for ages. Served with sides of Dhal soup and Kachumber salad with cilantro to garnish.
Preparation Instructions: Heat biryani and dhal in separate pots on the stove. Serve biryani, dhal and Kachumber salad separately. Top everything with cilantro and enjoy!
Ingredients:
Jar 1 – Biryani: Tofu, Basmati Rice, Onion, Cumin, Ginger, Garlic, Cardamom, Coriander, Smoked Paprika, Cloves, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Tomatoes, Water, Potatoes, Carrots, Peas
Jar 2 – Dahl Soup: Red Lentils, Carrots, Bell Pepper, Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Coconut Milk, Cumin, Smoked Paprika, Turmeric, Salt, Pepper, Avocado Oil
Jar 3 – Kachumber Salad: Cucumber, Tomatoes, Red Onion, Lemon Juice, Cumin, Salt, Pepper

Have you ever tried making Tikka Masala? It takes a long time, a little too long if you ask me. We don’t want you to have to deal with that, so we made it for you, and we did a very good job, if we do say so ourselves. We also took the liberty of making you a scrumdiddlyumptious salad so you won’t even mind eating your vegetables.

Preparation Instructions: Heat the tikka masala and rice separately, serve tikka masala over rice. Toss salad with dressing and serve.
